Another returning player is Amir Jangoo, who earned a recall following a standout performance in this year's Championship, amassing a double century and finishing second in runs scored.
The fast bowlers Alzarri Joseph and Shamar Joseph are also back in the Test setup after missing the tours of India and New Zealand due to injury. Their return adds a much-needed boost to the team's pace attack, with the pair last featuring in a Test squad during the home series against Australia in 2025.
Preparation and Team Spirit
As part of their preparation for the series, the squad is currently participating in a high-performance training camp in Antigua, which commenced on June 12 and runs until June 22.
